17.11.01 - *grins sheepishly* You don't wanna hear about my weekend. Really. I will simply say that I did NOT break my toe and leave it at that. Now I DID get some work done this weekend, just nothing ready to post (though I did get the next couple of episode titles posted on the Episodes page). Things should get finished and posted over the next couple of days though. Sections that should get updated include the Story section (I woulda slapped something up before I go to bed, but I got such a kawaii idea while I was in the shower, that its gonna have to wait), the Tech section, a new Credits section for the cast and crew, lyrics and more track listings, possibly a faq and a review/rant about Vandread: Taidohen (Vandread: Movement Stage). In other news Elite-Fansubs has their file server back up and running! They've got Vandread: Second Stage episode #s 1 & 3-6 up at the moment. Please remember to limit yourself to one download at a time, you're not the only person trying to use the server! (Please do not ask me where you can find the first season of Vandread, it has been licensed! Trading in licensed anime is illegal!)


16.11.01 - Got dismissed from jury duty on Weds, but have been to tired to do anything but lie on my bed and watch Cowboy Bebop (*plug* Wicked cool show, buy it, rent it, watch it today! *end plug*). The ep that will air shortly is titled "Hoho ni kiss shite" (Please kiss my cheek), next week's ep is called "reality". Update this weekend.


07.11.01 - I have Jury Duty this week. Probably for several more weeks. Maybe an update this weekend. This week's ep is called 'Original Smile'.


01.11.01 - Yikes! So I am waaay behind on the update aren't I? Been 3 weeks...*heh* ^^; Anyways, due to various computer reasons, I didne get everything done last weekend like I hoped. On the upside, I HAVE finally gotten my computer totally working which means...I can watch video again! This means I should start working on the episode guide done shortly. Anyways, a quick update of what I got done last weekend:

• This week's episode (That will be aired in a scant few hours time) is titled 'Somedays'.
  
  
• I updated the merchandise listings again, there's now a link to Rightstuf for pre-orders of the first US release (the cover majorly sucks. They could have least used the /logo/ for crying out loud...). Also, there's now a link up for pre-orders of the Vandread 2 OST which is due out towards the end of the month.

06.10.01 - Yipe! Okay so it's been a while since I was able to update...unfortunately my computer died on me and I've only just gotten it up and running (marginally anyways). I still can't get any video to work which unfortunately means the episode guide is on indefinite hold. It also means I canne watch my DVDs or Vandread 2 when it comes out!! *wails* Speaking of which, I've a bunch of related news for ya on that front...

• As most of you probably know by now, 'Red Angel', the first episode of Vandread 2 aired in Japan yesterday (10/5). Initial reports have been /very/ favourable. Elite-Fansubs began the subbing process Friday morning (US time) and hope to have it ready for distribution well...by today (Sat, 10/6 - Gotta love those guys...)
  
  
• Next week's Vandread 2 episode is titled 'Be My Baby'. The 3rd and 4th episodes are respectively titled 'Hanasaku tabiji' ('Flowered Journey') and 'Everything'.
  
  
• There are 2 Vandread 2 Trailers up for download. animedaisuki.com has both of them up for download here.
  
  
• Track listings for the singles have been added to the merchandise guide. Anyone who can give me a romaji verson of the Christmas song on the 'Trust' CD gets a cookie. (Or in lieu of that how 'bout a zip file of my archives of the vandread.com wallpapers? I've got a little over 30 of the 40 they've put out so far.) To see the kana, check the scan of the CD. I also fixed the CD Japan link for the 'Himegoto' single.
  
  
• Added the Audio Drama CD to the merchandise guide, also updated links for the DVDs (and now VHS tapes), a few other things.
  
  
• Created News and Site Update archives so the front page stays fairly clean. Also broke up the merchandise guide into several pages for the same reason.
  
  

That's about it on the update front for the moment. I should have some more stuff done this weekend. A few bits and pieces in the Tech section, I'm still working on the Story section.


16.08.01 - Quick update on the bridge crew stats. Thanks to mellowrg from the Vandread Mailing List for the info!


14.08.01 - Wai! Wai! Wai! I looooove it when I'm the first to know about something...so this evening I was debating whether or not to do a massive order from CD Japan and what should I come across but a listing for pre-orders for the single of the Vandread 2 Opening/Closing themes!!! I hadn't heard /anything/ about another CD release, it's not even listed in the Goods section on Vandread.com! According to CD Japan, the opening theme is called 'Justice' though they don't list the music artist. They don't list the title or the artist for the closing theme, buuuut...there is a third track on the CD performed by the female vocal cast called (get this) 'Spacy Spicy Love'.


28.07.01 - Pioneer announced at AX last month that they have licensed Vandread, with a projected release date of January 2002. Also, I'd like to point out that Elite Fansubs has a few tidbits up in their announcement section concerning Vandread 2. (For those of you who wish to avoid spoilers, I suggest you do NOT go see this.)
